EUROPEAN DAY OF ARTISTIC CREATIVITY 21 MARCH 2017
The proposals that will be presented in the different CreArt cities are very diverse, ranging from the opening of specific exhibitions in museums and private galleries, as well as open activities in galleries, public spaces, museums and schools, to the organization of contests in schools, guided tours, or talks with artists. Schools, museums, galleries and cultural associations interested in doing some special activity with the occasion of the European Day can still send the information directly through the online form.
Just to mention a few of the activities, for example Lecce (Italy) will organize two talks with students of the School of Arts and the participation of the Italian Contemporary artists Michele Guido e Giovanni Termini; The Croatian Association of Visual Artists will implement the project :The Aestheticization and Rehumanization of Public Space: six renowned Croatian artists will create artistic interventions for the hospital environment of the University Hospital Centre Zagreb, while the students of the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology are providing the background in research; In Linz there will be organized an exhibition opening in Atelierhaus Salzamt; Artkomas will coordinate in Kaunas different workshops for children; The Arad County Cultural Center will open in the Train Station and Exhibition with the local artists selected in the CreArt project; In Valladolid there will be organized, among others, the collective exhibition “Creadores”, with the participation in this occasion of CreArt artists from other cities that will present in Valladolid their work; a new edition of the cultural platform of activities CreaVA 17, contests for schoolchildren, the initiative Journalists for Creation, talks with artists in Secondary Schools...
