“WHITE NOISE, BLACK WORDS”

CreArt European Exhibition 2014

Projection of reality through the artistic vision is a sine qua non aesthetic principle that reality can become more than a reality.

Human specific,  artistic creativity is an unlimited resource that provides the lifeblood necessary to achieve great works of art ... and beyond.

Perfect agreement of this reality, the European cultural project CRE-ART - Network Cities for Artistic Creation, reveals the growing importance of the role that culture plays in the landscape of modern Europe today and also emphasizes the huge potential that intercultural dialogue can access in the context of cultural diversity and the increasingly apparent need for information and communication at the regional and / or local level.

CreArt is a real nomadic project, it is a flow without limit that connects artists to curators, projects to places, ideas to cities, thanks to the strength of art and its codes. These codes are those of painting, sculpture, installation, video, photography but not only this. Using the words of the italian curator and critic, Germano Celant, “you can make art with everything and everywhere, without limit of language and land”. By now this is a fact. Today the exhibition “More real than the real”  by Ilaria Bonacossa, arrives in the spaces of Palazzo Vernazza-Castromediano in Lecce. The exhibition, on the initiative of the project CreArt, in cooperation with the Department of european and youth politics, and the department of culture, tourism and entertainment of the Municipality of Lecce.  We are in the heart of the city, Palazzo Vernazza is maybe one of the most fascinating places of our region,  rich of history of the community of Salento and Apulia.

Next Friday 21st June, it will be open in the Municipal Exhibition Hall of “La Pasión” of Valladolid (Spain) the first CreArt European Exhibition MORE REAL THAN THE REAL, curated by the Italian Ilaria Bonacossa and organized by the Municipality of Valladolid in collaboration with the rest of the CreArt cities.
